Precautions and equipment
· Avoid alone and adapt the
difficulty of the hike at least good walker in the group.
. To move with precision on the ground, we recommend using maps TOP 25
of the IGN.
. Do not forget to check the weather before leaving: Meteo France 3650
or on the website www.meteo.fr
Itinerary marked hiking: where the route on the map differs from the
markup on the ground, it is recommended that you follow the latter.
· In the mountains, when an
excursion, the weather can change quickly, be properly carry shoes and
protective clothing.
. In seaside: for swimming, prefer areas monitored and observe the
guards and rescuers; for navigation, using maps Hydrographic and . .
Oceanographic Service of the Marine (SHOM). Some trails seaside
represented on the fund card have the nature of coastal trails and are
reserved for pedestrians (Law of 31 December 1976).
· In the forest and in areas at risk
of fire, be vigilant with respect to any gesture that could give rise

backpack.

survival blanket…).
. Leave early enough so as not to suffer the heat of the midday sun in

· If your ride lasts several days, choose in advance where you stop for the night and book if possible.
In case of accident
· Stay calm, avoid panic.
. Make a possible first aid.
. Do not move the injured person.
. To give warning, prepare the following: the nature and circumstances
of the accident, instead of the
accident (if possible WGS84-GPS coordinates or alphanumeric plotted on
the map), the type of injury and possible risks, your name and that of
injured, place your call and the number where you can be reached.
